Late night sister talks :)

So how much do I like sitting up til 2 am with my sisters (and 2 alumnae!) talking about random things? I had a blast doing it last night! Sacrificed a french quiz, but... hey, a girls gotta have priorities!

For about the first 3 or 4 weeks of school, me and a few of my bros stayed up til usually 3 or 3:30 on his patio discussing various pressing issues, as well as our frugelbinders, and just off-the-wall shit of that sort. Of course, I am doing an internship, so I had to be at work by 7 everyday, waking up, therefore at 6 am. So believe me, I know how you feel, I just usually don't skip the other priorities, though believe me, I have.

It was funny, I got so into a book one day (Zen & the art...) freshman year, that I didn't go to my Cal 3 quiz, which is okay, cause I probably didn't do too much worse than I would have had I gone. But it was funny when a few of my classmate buddies were like, where were you, and I replied, "I was pleasure reading"

I used to stay up late and talk with the guys when I was still in college but my grade suffered the times I did. These days in the real world I don't have time to do that kind of stuff.

I miss the late night talks, but I also miss the hungover mornings, all of my friends and I showing up at someones house with fast food(Mcdonalds is the BEST for hangovers) and a rehashing of the previous nights events. I will always miss the days of all of my best friends just steps away instead of hours!

You miss hangovers?

SigmaChiCard 10-01-2001 02:35 PM

You know how there are things in life that you cannot fully understand or appreciate til it's gone?

I'm guessing Hangovers fit in that category.

Cos right now they suck!

AOPiLaLa 10-01-2001 04:45 PM

No, I don't miss hangovers, silly! I miss having my friends next door so when I was hungover, I could go over there and commiserate with them about why I did stupid things the night before and how we were NEVER EVER drinking again!

AOPiLaLa,
hehe....How many times have we all said that. It quite possibly was a weekly re-quote for a good deal of time, particularly frosh year

That truck gets my quote for best icon ever. Pabst, heh.

it's not what's in the driver, it's what's in the truck.

. . . and if it's Pabst, then we all know the hangover is to follow . . . see, this thread does actually make some semblance of sense now!

Eh not really.
