Congrats to my boys!

I just wanted to say Congrats to the TKE's at Lyon. Chapel Walk was yesterday and they got 4 great guys! I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but only 8 went through fall rush so and the other two fraternities only pick up one. We also have deferred rush. Anyways, CONGRATS to my Tke boys!

Thats sad for your school but great for TKE. How many people do you have at your school? How big is the TKE chapter at Lyon?

Lyon has about 600 students. THe fall rush is for guys that have at least 12 lyon credits. The spring rush is much bigger. the freshmen can go through then. THe tke chapter here has 15 members i think. that is about the average size for a fraternity. sororities here have 40 to 50 girls.

That's awesome to know that TKE is doing well at your school. Hopefully rush will go as well/better come spring.

wow. I wonder how all those fraternties survive with so few numbers. They must not have a house. But its real cool that they got the average size for that school.

Personally, it doesnt matter if we rush 4 guys, if those four are quality gentlemen, then good for them. And it shows that there's something different about TKE if half of the total rushers are now a part of our fraternity.

As a note, 4 men out of 600 students are .6% of the student population. i took that number and multiplied by the 13000 undergraduates here at my chapter and got an equivalent percentage of 87 men.

I thought it was great too now. I was not insulting them. I realized how small the scool is so that is a great rush. And I agree qualitiy over quanity
