WAXING crescent
 

My recent trip to Joe Toga's got me on my soapbox again - it's a WAXING crescent, not a waning crescent. I won't buy Gamma Phi stuff with the "wrong" crescent. It's amazing to me how many vendors don't get it - and for that matter, how many members don't. PLEASE let your sisters know - it does matter! As an aside - does it matter to Tri Delts which type of crescent they use?

The Crescent

It's waxing, not waning.
I hate to be complaining,
but for lo these many years
it's brought me almost to tears.
We're growing, not shrinking,
it's a subject worth your thinking.
Make sure your crescent's in the right,
shining forth with its pure light.
A backwards"C" is the shape we love,
its meaning clear as we look above.
Sisters united in our long brown line,
the waxing crescent in the sky our sign.
