That kid was a loser. What was up with him and his roommate chugging the orange soda or whatever from the Brita filter?

that's what non-douchebags do when they want to prove they are better than frat boys, because chugging orange soda is better than chugging beer.

Yea,yea he was. My money is on him getting kicked out of housing before winter break. I'm guessing his comment stemmed from rejection:p

I agree with all of the above.

There's a lot of kids facing academic problems because of this show. They show a lot of underage drinking in the dorms, which is grounds for getting kicked out of housing, because you can't (unless you are of-age) has booze in the dorms. DUH.

Additional problems are coming from the whole non-academic misconduct clause that says you can be expelled if you do something that puts UW in a bad light.... which is kind of this show in a box.

So how did MTV get all these kids to sign the release forms agreeing that their names and faces could be on the show? (1) They're all hoping they'll be the next LC and Spencer and (2) Upon signing the release forms, they were given Wiis. Yes, these kids put their college education in jeopardy so they could play Wii Tennis in their dorm room.

Plus, all these kids got more booty than they would have on their own. One of my sisters is in the same dorm as one of these kids and he constantly had their cameras with them at parties and were like, "Yeah, baby, I'm gonna be on MTV...."

I'm not a big fan....

I could imagine you wouldn't be. I wonder what the parent's thought. Are any of the show's members greek??

Oh and what's up with the kid who skipped the first football game of the season??? Who does that:confused:

It's interesting to have on national TV how anti-Greek a lot of the (non-Greek) first-years are. I heard it in the dorms ("F*** the sororstitutes and lame ass frat boys" is a common statement, especially around bid day when the doors get decorated) but seeing it on TV re-reminded me of that...

It's funny, because that attitude (for the most part) tends to dissipate by the second-year, because a lot of them actually MEET Greeks or pledge GLOs... and they tend to stop or talking shit....

That reminds me of my freshman year roommate I couldn't stand. We lived together first semester when I rushed and pledged, and she told other girls on the floor and dropped hints how she thought I was so stupid for joining a sorority (only 3 girls from my floor, including me, rushed first semester).

The next semester after I moved out, she COB'd another sorority and acted like it was the best thing in the world. 5 other girls from my hall ended up rushing and pledging other sororities in the fall of their sophomore year.

This show sucks. Its like watching bad you tube videos on TV.

I have to say, at least based on my own experiences in college, it's fairly realistic. Minus the Greekdom of course. I wonder if they purposely aren't including many Greek elements due to the orgs themselves not wanting to be involved... Sorority Life de ja vu perhaps...?
