What are some good PR ideas that could be done in the fall to get the chapter's name out to the school?

A philanthropy event always does nice things to get your name out and it also diminishes the idea that sorority girls only party and socialize:)

Display cases, crush parties (like with the crush bottles), wing flings, newsletters, sidewalk chalking, newspaper ads, just random fun things like that...some of those can also be doubled as a fundraiser!!

What on earth is a wing fling?

Btw, not all schools allow sidewalk chalking. We talked about doing that for something, but it's not allowed on my campus.

And to the OP, how about going to other org's events and wearing your letters? We've been trying to get better about doing this. Wearing your letters is always a great way to show your presence, and you can show Greek solidarity by helping out another org (with a philanthropy event or whatever they're doing).
