Intake
 

Im wondering how how often do some of you guys organizations do intake. example 1 a year or every semester or maybe once every 2 years..and what are somethings you guys might do to attract new recruits

I'm not really sure why you need to know when/how often other organizations take in new members. You should be initiating based on your organization's policies and your chapter's resources.

As far as recruitment advice, there are some threads in the fraternity recruitment forum that should give you some ideas.

Well maybe I worded it a bit wrong...I really didn't need any advice I was just wondering because I've heard of different orgs on some campuses that only do intake every couple of years or so and then there are some that do it every year or even every semester...and as far as the recruitment inquiry it was merely for the same reason..Because I know of some chapters in different orgs who don't really do much as far as recruitment. They'll just send an invitation for whoever they themselves might be interested in pledging. The institution I attend has 8 of the D9 orgs 4 music org and some societies but they all pretty much function the same way It all varies campus to campus it seems and I was just trying to receive some insight on it through this topic seeing as though there are so many org represented on this site

Intake is something that some organizations don't like to talk about. As a result you're not going to find a whole lot of information on a public site about it.
