"Wolverine" leaked online

LOS ANGELES – "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" isn't due in theaters until next month, but the prequel has already hacked its way online.

A high-quality, full-length work print of the 20th Century Fox film appeared online Tuesday evening. The studio said it had the file removed, but copies quickly propagated and continue to appear on several file-sharing Web sites.

The movie focuses on the beginnings of Hugh Jackman's clawed Marvel superhero Wolverine and is set for a May 1 release.

Given the hype behind the Watchmen and how it was mixed in reviews and the somewhat low expectations among Marvel fanboys, I wouldn't be surprised to find
out if this leak was....intentional.

what i wanna know is.....

where can i get the bootleg?

I don't know why people can't just wait to see it the day it's released in theaters. The sound and picture quality is so much better.

hey...when you are talking about spending between 20 to 30 bucks at a theater, some people get really picky about what they are willing to spend their money on and when it's a 'summer blockbuster' you get really pissy when that particular movie sucks.

Indiana Jones 4 anyone???

I can't think of an Xmen movie that wasn't worth the money. I hate Indiana Jones.

Well not Xmen movies in particular but big ticket summer movies in general...

I see what you are saying but this is part of whether or not this may be a gamble (some of my close sources say that Fox is really pissed) to try and generate some early buzz about this flick because I can't really remember in recent history that any movie company ever publicly broadcast that one of their workprints went live before or during a movie release.

People should be able to tell by the previews (or who's in it) if it's going to be good or not.

DaemonSeid 04-02-2009 10:53 AM

Now see...

You and I both know what's wrong with that.

You can't always judge a preview for the finished product.

And then seeing a film where are of the good stuff was....IN THE TRAILER....lol

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a bad movie with a great preview. For example, when I saw the preview for "Knowing" I knew it was something I wanted to see. I was actually really excited about it. The movie was even better than the preview. That's usually how it turns out. I mean, think about it, has there recently been any bad movies with a really good preview?

And I didn't see any of those movies because I thought the previews were horrible.

Yes...

And here is the kicker...it's based on perception.

The Happening - Interesting looking preview - TERRIBLE MOVIE!

I want to see Wolverine because of the guy playing Gambit - Taylor Kitsch, who I love on Friday Night Lights. I hope he does the role justice.

To me, it seemed like Shamylan could've directed Knowing. It had his type of ending. I don't like his endings.
