Centennial Registration
 

I checked the website today, and noticed that registration was open for the Centennial Celebtration in Indy this summer.

I then noticed that registration was $350! That's $700.00 per couple if you choose to bring a guest - and it doesn't include lodging.

I am sorry, but that's a little steep for a tour (which most of us have already been on at least once), a banquet, a speech, and a ball.

Not all of us younger alumni are as financially stable as we'd like to be (especially in this economy), and $700 is a lot to ask someone to pay if you're not even putting them up in a hotel.

I'm sorry to say that unless something changes, I will not be attending - even though I've been looking forward to it for over a year. :(

Just tell your wife she has to stay home, I did.

Ouch.

I just wish it was a little more affordable for those of us who don't have much (or any) disposable income.

Best part for me is that I am a federal employee and get a better discount than the one LCA is getting for the room.
