USC Pi Phi Hit and Run Death
 

My condolences go out to the California Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi at USC. 19 year old Adrianna Bachan was struck by a car near campus and killed early today.

How terrible! This is the second greek related hit and run this year.
I hope they find the perpetrator quickly. I always wonder if the outcome would be different if the driver would just stop and get the victim immediate help.

That is awful. I'll be praying for her family and her chapter.

Apparently the male Adriana was with was struck and stuck to the hood of the car. The driver stopped to dislodge his body and kept going. Unbelievable.

This has been burning up the wires in the entire USC community. I hope they catch the poor excuse for a human that did this.

When I first heard about this news a couple days ago, I was devastated. As a member of the Trojan family myself, this is just terrible. Absolutely terrible. :(

Arrest
 

Crashing in....
TV, late morning newscast in LA, announced an arrest in this horrible matter.
Report was sketchy, said the driver, a woman, was arrested.
Further details are to come later today.

According to the LA Times, the driver had a suspended license. They killed the girl and stopped to remove the boy from the hood of the car. Animals!!!

The girl's mom held a picture of her daughter as she announced the arrest of her daughter's killer.

Thank God! I've been following this story. I was worried they'd never find who did this.

My condolences to her family and friends! That is one of the most terrible things I have ever heard! thank god they caught the criminal who did this!!!
