But that wasn't the purpose of the ad. It was shown at Aero India 2009.

"Aero India has already carved a niche for itself globally as a premier aerospace exhibition, with six successful editions organized between 1996 and 2007.The show aims at bringing under one roof, exhibitors from all around the globe to showcase the best in aviation."

They wanted to sell their technology to the Indian military. Aero India is basically convention where all the military companies come and show off their stuff. The Indian military procurement people walk around and see it.

Yes, it is organized by the Indian Ministry of Defense, but it is primarily an aerospace exhibition, and that part is open to the public. The ad wasn't just aimed at the military.

I will answer this hypothetical, regardless of the intended audience of the original advertisement.

I would completely refuse to buy anything from them. I would hate them forever for stereotyping my culture and most importantly, getting that dinga dinga dee chorus stuck in my head.
