If only THEY knew...
 

We all have done things that would shame our mothers/fathers at one time or another. I know of things that I have done that went against ALL that I was taught.

What have you done that would embarass, anger, or sadden your parents and family? What aspects of your life have you choosen to keep secret? If you were to tell them, what would be their reactions? What would hurt them the most; sexual, drug related, violence?

You don't have to reveal anything if you don't want! ;)

That's all I got to say about that! ;)

However, I will say that their reactions would be anger and sadness.

"I know I taught you better than that!"
 

The only things that would shame them would be the things that I did knowing that I knew better.

Amongst the many, the one that stands out is disrespecting my elders when I was about 13 or 14. At the time, I was hanging with people who thought it was cool to disrespect old ladies and curse out teachers. I never went that far, but I did have quite the smart mouth. I said somethings to some people that would have surely gotten my teeth knocked out if my mother had only known.

But, because of that, I go out of my way not to disrespect my elders. Even when they deserve it.
