I recently accepted a Board Position with a women's organization. As I was preparing a recruitment plan, I realized that most of the skills that I was using were cultivated during my tenure as VP of Membership in my chapter.

How do you use the principles of, the experiences from, and your membership in Alpha Phi Omega in "real life"?

I learned how recruit for and review grant applications through my chapter's endowment.

Refined skills I used as a teacher by being pledgemaster.

Parliamentary procedure through serving as a voting delegate...

The list goes on...
