Dancing with the Stars Season 8
 

Who do you think did good? Who do you think didn't do so good? Who are your favorites? Who do you think is going to get cut early? What do you think of the judges this year?

My favorites are Shawn Johnson and Melissa from the Bachelor. Steve Wozniak can go. So can Holly Madison.

I loved that Melissa did so well, she seemed so genuinely pleased and happy!! I also thought Shawn was adorable. They are my favorite women.

I though that Gilles was great!! He is my favorite male dancer. BUT, my favorite man was Ty the rodeo man. He may be a terrible dancer, but he is so sweet and down to earth, I loved his responses and reactions (too bad he has absolutely NO rythm).

Worst - Holly, Denise Richards, Steve Wozniak - those three made me cringe

I think ABC was totally GENIUS in bringing in Melissa as the last-second replacement. Not only will she get sympathy for being thrown in at the last minute, but also for the whole Bachelor brouhaha. And apparently they did get monster ratings for the Bachelor finale, so that will probably carry over to DWTS some.

I didn't get to see her performance, but I love her. :-)

I missed Lil' Kim. Did she dance last night? Was it a hot mess?

I agree! I cracked up when she dedicated her dance to the inmates! Too funny

I thought Denise Richards was terrible, and I am worried that in the first few weeks, Maks has already made her cry. I predict doom for this couple...He will hate it that she is so bad and she doesn't look like she is going to be able to improve enough for him.

Loved Shawn and Ty, the cowboy. He was so precious and sweet and honest! True, he was not a great dancer, but he tried and was so genuine. I couldn't help but vote for him!

Yeah, I threw some votes Ty's way too. I don't think he'll get booted this week, but he isn't making it to the end :(

He is just soooo nice, you want to hug him!!

I like Shawn Johnson but she looks like she has been on the banquet curcuit and has no shot at the 2012 Olympics.

I am LOVING all the SYTYCD alum on this show!!!

Loved Melissa - not just because of what happened, but she danced really well considering she only had 2 days of practice... she even got some of the highest scores.

I felt bad for poor Holly. She didn't seem to know what she was doing and she looked lost. I know she only had 5 days of practice & had no previous experience, but like they said, they don't give scores based on how long they've had to prepare.

That guy from the SATC movie was pretty to watch :p

I think Shawn Johnson's outfit was kinda nutty. She's only 17! I know "that's what all the other girls were wearing" but .. idk I guess I just thought she could have picked a different outfit. Her dancing was pretty good though I guess

Other than Chelsea - who else is a SYTYCD alum? I do love that show but haven't watched very many seasons.

Lacy Schwimmer is from SYTYCD (who is paired with Steve-O), she was 3rd place a couple of years ago and her brother won it the year before that.

Also, Demetri (hot hot hot), who is dancing with Holly. I hope he can get her up to speed, because I'd like him to be around for a while;)
