Portable Hard Drives

Hi,

I've been trying to organize my life, and with multiple leadership (and administrative) commitments I keep running out of space on my flash drives. Between 2006 and 2008 my storage needs jumped from a 512 MB to 1 GB to 4 GB to 8 GB. I had the 8 GB on my keychain b/c i was paranoid about losing it.

I finally broke down and purchased a 500 GB portable hard drive last night and i LOVE it. But... i just bought one that was on sale instead of really checking into features and options. I wish I would have checked around for one that can communicate with my laptop via Bluetooth instead of USB but it's not a major issue.

What do you have? Are you satisfied?

I have a Maxtor 300 GB and a Western Digital 500 GB. Both are USB.

I like the WD because it's little and black. The Maxtor is silver and looks a little too futuristic.

Otherwise, they're both the same to me.

Not sure if any bluetooth drives available...if so let me know and if you get tempted....hold on to your reciept.

I saw 1TB drives on sale for like 150 (or cheaper I think) at Best Buy.

That is on my list.

I have a WD 320 passport that I love. It's USB, I use it with my laptop and I like it very much.
