So what's everyone's favorite Dr. Seuss book?

Mine is The Cat in The Hat but that's mostly because my dad read it to my brother and me so many times growing up that all three of us can recite at least the first few pages by memory.

I was more of a Shel Silverstein fan myself, but my dad loved loved loved to read Dr. Seuss to us when we were little because it was very sing-songy and he could make voices. :)

There's a Wocket in My Pocket. My grandpa use to read it to me :)

It's also READ ACROSS AMERICA day!

I havent seen a Dr. Seuss book in years. My favorite had to be Green Eggs and Ham

Yay! I like Hop on Pop and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. My (future) kids are gonna have a ton of Dr. Seuss books for SURE!

Just yesterday, I was looking for something in my filing cabinet, and found a memorial to Dr. Seuss. I was going to post it, but forgot to bring it. I'll get it soon, because it is good.

And Green Eggs and Ham is my favorite. My mother used to scramble eggs with a little spinach, food coloring, and ham, and we loved them!

It's a toss-up between There's A Wocket In My Pocket and Green Eggs And Ham. I've read many Dr. Seuss stories to my kids and they love them all. We even made Dr. Seuss hats today.

Interestingly, I met him when I was a kid... Yeah, I'm dating myself... Oh well.

This isn't one of his books, but is one of his pictures. I chuckle everytime when I see it...

^^^ LOL I had to do a double-take. I thought that was one of the books I missed.

My father read to me every night, but he said he always had a hard time reading Seuss because of the anti Japanese propaganda he did during WWII.

I'm a big fan of Green Eggs and Ham. I ordered the "Seuss" last time I ate at a local restaurant, pesto with eggs, ham, and parmesan cheese.

Green Eggs and Ham.

Hop on Pop, but I've memorized most of Fox in Sox.:D

I just bought a Seuss book a couple days ago! My friend is pregnant and I got her Oh, Baby, the Places You'll Go!

I'd have to say it's a toss up between Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and Are You My Mother?
