I'm new to greek life but i have been dating a girl for a while(shes not greek) and was just wondering what the normal arrangement is for lavaliering

It depends on the fraternity and chapter. If you're serious about it, you probably should have a conversation with your chapter brothers. Some wait for formals, some hold lavaliering ceremonies on other occasions.
