Lapboards!
Hey!
Is there any way to remove pour-on from a lapboard or stool without messing up the paint? Someone must have touched my lapboard for my new Little and now the pour on looks awful! I don't want to have to completely redo it,but I don't know any other options. Please help! Thanks! Chelsea |
I think about the only thing you can do is just add another layer to smooth it out.

I have to ask: What is a lapboard?

The question is what was poured on the lapboard?
Probably there is going to be nothing that can be done except trying to get any gunk removed from the board with the exception of comet, SOS scouring pad, and/or WD-40, and a lotta elbow grease. |
^^^ I would assume it was a pour-on resin type of thing. Something poured onto the board to protect the painting and whatnot.

You are correct! It was pour-on? So you think I'll probably just need to re-do it?
|
It looks like it's smeared though, do you think another layer will smooth that out? It's pretty much dry now. I didn't realize it was messed up until a day or two after

I've got to ask- where do you find one of these plain lapboards that you decorate? I'd love to track them down!

hobby lobby, michael's, craft shops. Usually they come out around the time that school gets back in session. Wally world sells them, but you just have to look.

Also, my school's bookstore sells them so if you know anywhere that sells Greek stuff they may know about them or where you can purchase one. |
