Post-Centennial trip to Japan in August
 

I'm thinking about a trip to Japan in August after the Centennial; objective would be to hike up Mt Fuji. Anybody interested?

Very interesting sounding trip, but what would something like that cost? Five grand, or better?

Oh and how hostile would the Japanese be towards Americans, especially in a crappy world economy as well as both of our local economies stinking it up.

Hire enough "guides" and buy enough supplies from the town nearest Fuji and any hostility will melt away!

But that is a good question, how much would something like that run?
