Tell me about DG at Kent State

Hi everyone,
My wonderful niece is going to Kent State next year. I'd love to know more about DG on campus. I am a DG from Texas and pledged back in the 80s. Needless to say, I have no idea what Greek Life and Recruitment are like on a northern campus in the 2000s. :) Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

In the bonds,

I go to Akron and I'm a DG there and though I don't know much about the chapter at Kent, I do know that they are some very classy and wonderful ladies :) KSUViolet's been around the Kent campus for awhile (I believe she's a grad student now) and though she is not a DG she can probably tell you more about them than I can lol.

Sorry to crash ladies:

They're a great group of ladies here. I have several friends who are Gamma Epsilon alumnae, and they all had a great experience there in undergrad. I believe that several of their alumnae have gone on to contribute to DG on a volunteer level after graduation.

So, all of this to say that they are great, but really, you'll find that the same is true of every chapter at KSU.

Feel free to send me a PM (private message) about anything related to KSU and recruitment! I'm a current grad student there and a sorority alumna. It's very different from a Texas style recruitment.

I met a Delta Gamma from Kent State ('07 graduate) through my local alumnae chapter... of course I can't say that she represents every woman in that organization, but she is beautiful, outgoing, well-spoken, and extremely involved in everything she participates in. She's constantly speaking very highly of her chapter and has a lot of great stories about sisterhood and social events (not to mention a bunch of cute tees that she's made into a quilt!)
