Tampa Elementary Schools

My niece is graduating from UGA in May and getting married/moving to Tampa in June.

She's looking for a job in Tampa if you know anyone I can put her in touch with about good/bad school info.

PM me!

Aye, maybe I'll come to Convention!:D

Is she an Alpha Gam at Georgia?

She's an ADPi at UGA

Her mom pledged DG at UGA the same time I pledged AGD at West Georgia.

I told her at least she got 2 of the letters, lol.;)

One of my pledge sisters is from Tampa. She may be of help. PM me and we shall discuss :)

I tried...

I asked my friends from Tampa and since neither of them have children, they don't really know much about the schools there/how they are now. Sorry :(

There is a wonderful Alumnae Chapter in Tampa, and, I believe, ADPi also has a group. I would send her to her sisters and ours--those who live in the area--and ask them for advice. I have heard things here and there about specific schools, but have no first-hand advice. I also would wish her a bucketload of luck to get an education job in Florida right now. We are seeing an exodus of students and budget slashes (as is everyone) to the tune of losing often hundreds of teachers per district. There are also private schools in the area that may be of interest. What's taking her to Tampa? If it's future hubby's job, then ask for placement assistance from them, too.

I need to check in with her to see how it's going, lol. I've been hearing the same thing.

Her soon-to-be hubby got a job teaching chemistry (or some kind of science) at the Jesuit high school down there. She is getting a degree in elementary education.
