Chartering a Chapter

Hey guys,
I'm about to charter a chapter of a certain GLO at my school. The chapter(s) that will be 'pledging' us will be far away. I'm just wondering if someone could suggest any tips or hints to make this experience less stressful. I'm just a little anxious because I don't know what to expect since this is something new to me.

It's normal to be anxious, but there really aren't any "tips" to give. Just make sure you're keeping in touch with the "pledging" chapters and informing your pledge educator/dean/whatever s/he's called of any issues.

The curiosity is eating me up.

WonderYrs 02-12-2009 11:09 PM

lol ...what curiosity?

knight_shadow 02-12-2009 11:12 PM

Probably about what organization it is.

Since you haven't told us where you are or any other identifying information, you might as well tell us what you're pledging -- in the interest of discretion, just don't tell us your name or the school.

Deal?

I go to school in Buffalo, NY and the org name is Delta Epsilon Mu...world's only pre health related professional frat. The org started in 1996 at Bing University and is slowly growing. I've decided to do this because I don't have an desire to join a professional frat that isn't based on my major.

My bad for lacking on the details portion...

Interesting. I'd never heard of that organization.

Good luck!

Hey, did u cross by any chance? We're trying to get in contact with other chapters, we've created a Forum for DEM so we can get in contact with members, better communication.

Im JUST seeing this! No I didn't get to join and I graduated last May! :( Someone from one of the chapters contacted me ages ago to see if anyone was still interested in joining ( at my school). I can find them and forward your interest to them. Send me a message with ur email. Sorry for 'rehashing' the old thread even though its mine. *flips hair*
