New new member program?

Reference was made to a revised new member program, called "Alpha."
Is it correct to assume that "Gamma" will follow for collegians and "Delta" for alumnae?

(I'm out of the loop, but am an interested bystander. :) )

Delta launched Fall 08 - for Seniors. Alpha launches Fall 09. Gamma is in the works for the period in between new member and being a senior.

Information about Alpha and Delta will be in the TLC of Member Services shortly [found in Resources/Handbooks] - probably by the end of the week. Take a look at it! All is very exciting :)

I can't wait!! This works great! We will be doing a Delta program this Sunday:) I have told our seniors about it and they are already brainstorming!

I experienced the Delta for the first time tonight... we had an alumnae meeting and the seniors joined us. It was nice.

Thanks -- I had to search for a while to find it on the AGD website and eventually found it. I like the trend to providing guidance and encouragement for those about to graduate. Decades ago there was a "senior sendoff" and that was about it.

I look forward to reading more about Alpha and Gamma.

We're working on getting that fixed [the having to search awhile bit] - hopefully by end of summer at the latest. The launch of Alpha is taking a lot of energy and time at the moment, and is a top priority.

I just need to say that I'm so stinkin' excited about the Alpha Experience launch.

If you work with a chapter, please remind them to order the new new member guides - they are fantastic!

Supporting materials are super exciting, too! Can't wait for chapters and new members to see them!

That is all :)

When are the updated manuals / online handbooks available? I can't wait!

Everything has launched as of today! Chapters who have already finished recruitment are being called by IHQ with information - emails to NMCs, VPMDs, MDAs are being sent with login information for the chapters and the new members. There is a separate site just for new members, as well as a facilitators guide for the entire Alpha Experience for new member coordinators all online! No handbook to flip through - it is fairly intuitive!

Super excited - it looks really good, and I can't wait to hear what chapters think about the new program.

Is any of this accessible to alumnae? Since I still live in town and see new members around I want to know what they're talking about so I can provide good information and keep up with the times.
