Do you like this dress?

I bought this for my niece's engagement cocktail party but am having second and third thoughts. It looks better in person. The one I bought comes to my knees and NO, I am not wearing leggings with it, lol. black hose probably. Will prob search for something else. I do have a black dress or I have a cute copper top that I would wear with black pants.

Most of the other guests I haven't seen in years. I guess you could call the crowd kinda "A" list for a small town. The party will be held at my brother's house which is huge and sooo gorgeously decorated. (I knew the new wife had great taste b/c it's decorated in red and gold!)

I don't normally wear something this "bold" but it's kinda "now looking". I know my sis in law that's giving the party will be wearing a black dress cause she said she needed a new one anyway. Not sure about the niece's mom.

I like the mod print. How do you feel wearing it? If you put it on and feel good, then I'd say go for it.

I do like it, I probably will wear it.

I'm one of those people (okay probably most, lol) who are kinda paranoid about wearing something different to a party where you barely know anyone and want to make a good impression and not "Oh my gawd, what was she thinking";)

I like it. But then I really love B&W prints. I would wear that with leggings and my slouchy boots. Maybe not to the type of party you describe - black hose and pumps would probably be better.

Not really unless you like being covered in doughnuts.

Yea, I changed my mind. Luckily I found 2 more dresses together for a few cents less than this one cost alone (unfortunately it was higher in real price).

So I'll take this one back.

I saw your FB status and then saw this thread. I will be honest (as sisters should be, right?).. I don't see you in that bold one. It's just not your style. I'm glad you found some others you like!

Lol, I did like it at first glance, but the more I looked at it...nah, good choice. I hope you really like the others.

Knowing you, Lynn, I completely agree with Dee. It's cute, but I can't imagine you in it.

I *can* imagine DoctorD in it!

FWIW, I've yet to meet a man who thinks a woman looks good in polka dots. It always amazes me.

I think it's cute, but I picture you in solids or squirrels. ;)
