SEC Greek Rankings
For a while now I've been really interested with where exactly and how the SEC would look like if we made a ranking of the Greek Systems at the schools.
This is what I came up with after some research and some number crunching. 1- University of Alabama 2- Ole Miss 3- University of Georgia 4- Auburn University 5- Louisiana State University 6- University of South Carolina 7- University of Arkansas 8- University of Florida 9- Vanderbilt University 10- University of Kentucky 11- University of Tennessee 12- Mississippi State University Please Note: All SEC schools have extremely strong Greek systems, and even Miss St and the schools near the bottom on this could arguably be on top of almost any other conference. IF ANY OPINIONS, ADVICE, SUGGESTIONS, DISAGREEMENTS, ETC, PLEASE POST WHAT YOU THINK SHOULD BE CHANGED AND WHY. |

Why is it important to rank Greek systems at schools within a conference? It's realy an apples to oranges to grapes comparison since the schools, majors, locations, funding, population, etc., etc. etc. are so vastly different. Quote:
How exactly would you know this unless you ranked all of the other conferences outside of the SEC? Even if you did, again, there is no true comparison since you are ranking Greek systems at schools with vastly different majors, locations, funding, population, etc., etc. etc. I suggest that we stop with all of the recent comparison talk since the strength of a school's Greek system is totally dependent upon it's own unique environment. |

Personally, I am not one of those who gets ruffled feathers over rankings, though I do understand why ranking chapters on a campus can be detrimental to that system. So I'm not fussing at you for the list. I'm just curious as to how it was created. |
