The first rule is to memorize your school's Recruitment Rules backwards, forwards, and diagonally!

Congratulations! My advice would be to be honest with your girls and give them more information than you think they could possibly use. I would also tell them that not every thing they hear is true, in fact, most of it is not. One member does not define an entire Chapter. Tell them to keep an open mind and more importantly if they hate the groups that they get left with have them continue on, but when it is all said and done DONT have them put a house down if they know they absolutely dont want to be there because there may be another PNM who does and that would open a space for them. That may not be popular advice, but if they are going to drop any way it screws them for COB or Spring Recruitment and they have to wait a whole year.

We have a couple threads for Rho Chi/Rho Gamma advice:

In general, I would say it's a good idea to be a GOOD LISTENER. Really listen to your PNMs and try to hear what they're saying, especially when they are having a tough time (i.e. getting cut heavily, having second thoughts about pref rankings, etc).

So often I think PXs are SO busy trying to be persuasive about getting girls to stay in recruitment that they forget to really listen. Sometimes, just being there and giving a girl a should to cry or pout on goes a long way in getting them to continue with the process (moreso than trying to talk them into it).

That cannot be stressed enough. How often have we read sad PNM stories where her Rho Chi cited wrong rules/policies?

Congrats! I was chosen as one at my school, as well!
