Large chapter sisterhood events
 

I'm sisterhood chair this semester, and I need to think of events to do including a retreat. We have a large chapter and we're not really the type of girls to sit around decorating cupcakes and stuff like that. So other than arts and crafts, any ideas?

We'll have like 150 girls but they all dotn need to show up or participate to everything. Everyone is just over the whole dinner/movie night thing

I come from a smaller organization, but communication is the key to success! Making cupcakes is not a fun time, we found meeting with organizations of the opposite sex, often make for a fun time. You can do some type of crafts event, like make greek t-shirts ( for up coming rush) and have a competition. You don't have to bring liquor in the equation either, just enjoy the company. If there is a parade coming up you guys can build a float or do something fun like play touch or if your TUFF TACKLE FOOTBALL! ( Not real tackle just some contact (:
With a sorority that large you probably have clicks, you should always try to pair brothers or sisters who don't reall hang out that much outside the house, and that always makes things interesting. Do a safe scavenger hunt, were you have to get funny things and funny pictures!

To the OP, many of the chapters on my campus were between 125-140. Many used the ideas KSUViolet talked about. Breaking up into smaller groups helps to have sisters get to know other sisters.

We had something called Kite groups. They changed every week or so, and you were supposed to get together with that group of girls for coffee or something. It was great way to get to know sisters that I didn't usually connect with.
