DC Area - MLK Service Projects
 

Hi GC,

i was wondering if any of the DC area people (who aren't already tied up with inauguration or trying to stay away from inauguration) are performing any service projects on Monday.

My friends and I traditionally do "we feed our people" at MLK library. However, I'm trying to see what else is available.

My job's food bank is open on Saturday, but not Monday....sorrrrryyyy

I personally plan on avoiding all types of crowds this weekend.

i want to do something in Maryland and not get caught up downtown.

I'm avoiding all roads that lead to DC on Monday.

It hasn't been as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'm staying with my roommate from college and we've been doing those "touristy things" the last two days and the only time I found crowds to be crazy (so far) was Saturday night. I'm sure it's going to be insane at the Mall today for the concert though...
