Our National President on Dr. Phil on 1.9.09

Hello sorors, friends and guests!

I don't think that this has been posted in our forum, but National President Butler-McIntyre is going to be on Dr. Phil's show tomorrow, January 9th, 2009 along with T.D. Jakes and the cast of his new movie.

I am excited and hope that you all tune in!

Thanks for the info. I got it set to record.

Hmm, I'll have to research what channel and time it's showing...

I was not impressed by what I saw of the movie on Dr. Phil...

She spoke shortly about the Sorority's endorsement.

I thought it was a good show with the cast. The main show was about struggling marriages. They tried to cram too much into an hour show.

I saw it. The movie looks intersting, even though a review I saw in the paper yesterday called it a Madea movie without Madea. I'm glad it was on the first half of the show, because I fell asleep on the couple.

I'm glad the sorority is endorsing the movie (and other movies in the future), but the studios need to be promoting the movies as well. I bet the cast wouldn't have been on the show if Dr. Phil and TD Jakes weren't friends. :(

I have a question: what's the connection of DST's national president endorsing the movie? Am I missing a cnnection?

It's an initiative of our national Arts and Letters Commission.

The weekend's box office numbers have come out...

Also new were the Rogue Pictures /Universal Pictures supernatural thriller " The Unborn " at No. 3 with $21.1 million, and TriStar Pictures ' faith-themed drama " Not Easily Broken " at No. 8 with $5.6 million. Their respective studios said the openings exceeded expectations.
Wow. :(

Wow. :(

That's bad that the studios didn't even expect to make that much!

There is reason why...it wasn't shown in that many screens.

The same thing happened to Cadillac Records.
