Hi!

I'm apply for Pref Chair for my chapter (LSU) and I'd really like to update our preference ceremony!

I attend LSU and we have huge rush. Our Pref parties I think will have about 70 girls at each.

I'm looking for ideas and information about YOUR preference ceremony (or ones you held as an active).

Did yall do poems? Songs? Personal Stories?

HELP! any, any, any suggestions you can throw at me would be greatly appreciated.

Also, any party planners out there I'd love some tips on creating ambiance.

Our biggest thing on Pref Night was making a kite for each PNM with a letter written to her pasted on it. One active member would read the letter to the PNM during our ceremony. The letters included: quotes about sisterhood, why we thought the PNM would be a great addition, reasons why the active herself joined Theta, etc.

There's more we used to do that night, but I don't want to post it all in a public forum. If you would like to know more, just message me. I'm not sure if you still need ideas, since this post is a few weeks old.

I used to be VPM for my chapter, but it was at a school with a small Greek life.
