Marley & Me, the movie
 

I could have sworn there was already a thread on this but I did the whole google search thing and couldn't find one so...

Has anybody else seen this yet? My ex and I took the kids last night and I have to say, there was not a dry eye in the theater. I saw big huge macho looking guys wiping their eyes. I wish they had ended the movie like they ended the book. My son (12) proclaimed that he'll never go to a movie again because it was just too sad.

I went it saw it the day after Christmas. I'm so NOT a dog person, but I loved it. Such a good movie.

I have two labs at home, so my family and I decided to see it Christmas day. Everyone was crying; I think that's the first time I've ever seen my dad cry!

As soon as I got home, I laid on the couch with my dogs :) It's definitely a great movie.

I am very active in Labrador Rescue. I never read the book because.... why bother? I lived that story every day :)

A group of us from Lab Rescue went to see the movie today. It was phenomenal and EXTREMELY accurate! We are joking that we are going to start requiring that people who want to adopt puppies from us see the movie prior to being approved, at least the first half. Really well done movie.

Unlike the way many Hollywood movies have just about ruined other breeds, i.e. 101 Dalmatians, Pugs in Men In Black, BCs in Babe, it looks like the Labrador may not take a similar hit from this movie. They are overbred enough already :'(
