I just received my first issue and am really excited to read it! Any GCers in this issue (writing or pictures)?

Yay. I remember my first issue -- I was so excited to finally get it!

I have an article on the last two pages about my life on the campaign trail. It's the top one.

*And there's no reason to apologize for starting a thread. I think an Angelos thread is great. This way we can find out when GCers are in it.

I always seem to get mine about a week or two later than others. Since I moved just before the holidays, I don't know if National sent it to the old address to be forwarded or if it will come directly here. I will have to wait a bit to see.

What page, sweet<3? I've been looking at all the captions trying to find your chapter!

Ooh. I was thinking about starting an Angelos thread if there wasn't one already. Anyone see the note from a Girl Scout leader about her troop's day with the Kansas State KDs? I teared up a little after reading it.

My chapter, Gamma Beta is in it on the recolonization story. They're in the middle of their first formal recruitment and just moved into their new house. Fingers crossed for them.
The picture has Gamma Beta alums in it including some former chapter presidents, two former national officers and a former CAB member. We're so pleased to be back.

I am so happy that KD is recolonizing at North Texas. I only wish they would recolonize my chapter at TCU. I was rush chairman there in the mid seventies and we pledged quota back then. Don't know what happened to them in the eighties. Now I have a KD daughter at TAMU and am enjoying hearing all about rush now that she is on the other side of it this year. They put on their pref and skit day for the parents last Sunday and it was fabulous. Best of luck to Gamma Beta!

Gamma Beta
 

I had the opportunity to see the Gamma Beta house on Saturday and was blown away. It is really beautiful. Texas State Day will be held on the UNT campus next March and will include a tour of the house; you all should make plans to attend!

In addition, the GB girls were lovely. I think they are going to have a great recruitment.

Did everyone else receive the latest issue? The new design is really attractive.

I like the new layout. Our shamrock luncheon received a lot of coverage in this issue.

I like the new format too. My chapter is Sigma Epsilon and there is a nice article on page 50 about our recolonization celebration this past summer. I was in charge of putting it on and am quoted in the article. Great job by Judy Thorne in writing the article!

DaffyKD - I just read "The Power of Three". Is that your AC's event in Southern California? What a great tradition y'all have going. Very impressive!

The next event will be on March 5 with all three of us.
