from iraq to a fraternity
 

hey i was wondering if anyone knew about the KA at UGA??
i plan on attending georgia when my last tour is done in iraq which is also my last yr in the army.
But i also was wondering if anyone know any x-army guys who have pledged or rushed and if they make a good brother??
ill be 25 and dont really know if thats what their looking for

I know two x-army guys, and one of them is in one of the top fraternities on campus. I think they make great brothers, because they have more experience in life and are more disciplined. Plus during pledging they wouldn't bitch about doing assignments because they have been overseas and know what real work is.

My fraternity has a brother who has done tours in Iraq and pledged at the age of 23. We don't even look at him any differently then anyone else; despite his age and military background. I'd have to agree with whoever posted above me as well, during the pledge process he didn't complain about any of the pledge assignments since they've been over seas and know what real work entails.
