College Bands Part 2
 

A similar thread was eliminated in the past couple of weeks, I think. And this weekend in Carbondale, we have an awesome line up of college bands so I thought I'd start this thread up again.

Anyways, last Sunday, OAR played at the Copper Dragon.

The Urge will be there tommorrow night.

Mike and Joe are on tonight at a place called Pinch Penny Pub. Their shows are always fun.

Hello Dave plays Friday.

Thats just a few, I can recall right now.

Anyone have opinions of these? Or anything else to add, please do.

I love OAR - I think they are awesome :D Mike and Joe, I saw part of a performance and they wee also excellent!

On another note - here at Iowa we're trying to get OAR to play at our Dance Marathon (24 hours of dancing fun to raise $$$ for kids with cancer) The Nadas, for all of you who know who they are, have already agreed to play a set for us - so it should be very cool!

OAR is sick - i think that's a pretty common sentiment . . .

The Urge is awesome live as well - very fun band. Other good bands in that mold - Less Than Jake, the Vandals, the Aquabats, Zebrahead, My Superhero, Kara's Flowers, etc . . . love em all. I'm going to the Long Beach Dub Allstars show next weekend - i'm already excited . . . it'll be out of control
