Big Brother event
 

Hello ,
I was elected the new Candidate Marshal for our fraternity,and I need a couple of ideas for how we could give the pledges their big brothers without them knowing that it is really big brother night.
What we used to do is : Candle Light
we would trick the pledges into thinking that it was a final oral exam that they would either pass or fail, and at the end of the night they would get their big brother. Well we can do that anymore because the chapter decided that the tradition needed something new. So I need so new ideas on how we could trick the pledges so they don't know it is really big brother night, and I'm trying to make it fun too.

You could tell them that it's their pledge brother retreat or just tell them that you need every one of them to meet at (whichever place) by whatever time.

tell them just to be somewhere, no excuses, things go on a need to know basis, and if they aren't there, they're cut. that simple.

With my chapter, we made a list of our Top 5 Big Brothers. Then, anyone who was put on a list is informed and they make a list of the Top 3 people they would want as Littles. Then one or our VPs handles the final matching. Finally, we hold a special ritual to receive our Big Brothers.

you can give a piece of paper and have them write their top three choices for Big Brother. that worked for us.
