re-rushing??

I pledged a sorority which I loved during rush but once I got a bid, things changed. All of the girls in my rush group had already formed friendships and I didn't know anybody. I made a few friends, but I ultimately dropped after 2 weeks because I felt like I did not fit in. I really regret it now and I'm just wondering if I should re-join? Did I not give it enough time?

That may be a moot point. After dropping at week 2, the chapter may not wish to take you back. To answer your last question, no, you did not give it enough time. Sorority members don't become instant friends on bid day. It's no different than making friends in other situations....it takes time.

To be blunt: No, you did not give it enough time. Sorority friendships are just like all of the other friendships you have, they didn't develop instantly. They take time. Girls don't become your best friends in 2 weeks.

As far as re-joining, every chapter has a different policy about it. Whether or not you can re-join depends on whether they want to have you back, as they are not obligated to do so.

I agree. Please also remember that if this an NPC sorority, you cannot pledge a different NPC sorority for a full year.
