Best and Worst of 2008

Ok...the year is winding down and it was a very eventful year.

Now is a good time to reflect.

Pick a category from food to movies to anything you can think of, even personal reflections and accomplishment and list the best and worst of 2008 and what it meant to you.

Best

Movie - Dark Knight

Fun I had - finally going to Disneyworld

World Event: Obama... nuff said

Family event - the birth of my god daughter

Worst

Movie - Speed racer

Month I had - Last month dealing with a lab partner in class who refused to co operate

Decision - cutting loose a long time associate because their legal troubles kept piling up...hardest thing I had to do.

Best:

Family time: cross country road trip

Personal triumph: quitting my previous job

Decision: Planning a trip to Los Angeles & Hollywood with my friend and getting tickets to the Price Is Right (for March 2009) & joining my church.

Day: December 5th--I met Mike Huckabee, shook his hand, and got him to autograph my book & karma came back to OJ Simpson.

Worst:

Month: October/November

Day: valentine's day--I was deathly ill with the flu and had to forego my Riverdance tickets :(

World Event: toss up--gas prices over $4 a gallon, financial industry bail out, recession.

Day: hasn't happened yet. Any day I wake up is good for me. November 5th, President-Elect Barack Obama!!

Best:

Decision - Moving out to Chicago.

Accomplishment - Finishing my master's degree.

Family time - Driving home for Thanksgiving.

Personal - Finding out some very exciting news about a sibling-in-law.

Worst:

Event - Not finding a job (yet!).

Days - April 1, May 11, December 15.

I might have another best to add to it come Christmas Day but I'm trying really hard not to get overly excited about it in order to be let down if what I think is going to happen doesn't happen - but I'm not teeeeeellinggggg. :D
