The City (on MTV)

I've long given up on The Hills, but I must say that I'm intrigued by this one. Whitney's never really pulled me in before, but I love the From the Hills to the City thing that's running right now about the show. I'll definitely be tuning in.

I wonder how pissed off Spencer, Heidi and Audrina are that Whitney was the one that got the spinoff.

I would say Spencer is really pissed. But really, I know I wouldn't watch a Speidi spinoff.

and I agree also KD I am over The Hills, it's dragged on for way to long and they say they're supposed to do a fifth season. The only episode I think I am going to watch this season is next week's because it's the episode where Heidi and Spencer get married and the only reason I know that is because I was watching whatever true life was on and the promo came up for it and that episode should be interesting. The shock that surprised me was Brent though, I thought him and Heidi weren't that close anymore after the stunt she pulled at work?

OK, I'm now a Whitney fan. I never thought too much of her on The Hills, but I like her officially after tonight. I'm just glad to have a new pointless girl show to watch. :)

I agree (I got so much crap from my husband for watching that show), but I really was impressed with Whitney. She seems much more mature than the Hills people and I thought she was pretty natural in front of the camera. Also, the people around her are more interesting.

I loved the fashion show segment at DVF, definitely a cut above the behind the scenes fashion show stuff on the Hills.

The Alex/Jay scene (near fight) at the club seemed real. I wonder how much is staged. They really seemed like they might "take it outside".

The "social" Olivia and her friends at the dinner party ("My dad is an art dealer") were ridiculous. I must say I kind of felt sorry for her when she told Minolo Blanik that she got her first pair before her deb and Whitney and the girl from Bergdorf's just kind of rolled their eyes. She seems really insecure whereas Whitney seems pretty self assured in her new environment.

I will definitely tune in next week.
