Question
hi everyone! ok, i'm not a phi mu, so if i'm not allowed to be posting here then i'm really sorry and just ignore/close this, but anyway...
what is phi mu's policies concerning legacies? does it vary from chapter to chapter? my step mother is a phi mu, am i a legacy or is that not a strong enough connection? besides that, i'm just interested in what her sorority is all about! what is your chapter like? are you involved on campus? tell me, i want to know! |
Your primary resource should be your Step-Mother. She will be able to give you her first hand experience with Phi Mu as well as provide you with recs and Legacy Intro forms (if you should need them).
As long as she is in good standing within the Fraternity, and she wishes to represent you as a legacy, you are fine: "Phi Mu defines a legacy as a sister, half-sister, step-sister, daughter, step-daughter, granddaughter or great-granddaughter of a Phi Mu in good standing (living or deceased). " (phimu.org) |

oh, yeah. i've been to the official website a bunch of times and also went to some of the chapters websites too, and there was a lot of good information and cool stuff to look at, but i was also just sort of interested in everyone's more personal experiences. i just thought it'd be cool to talk to actual phi mu's
