as anybody ever met other Greekchat members?
 

Was just curious as to if anybody had made any personal friendships off of Greekchat, who they otherwise would have never met before in the first place? Who would you like to meet?

The underlying reason I ask is because I am on another forum where we do social meet-ups from time to time, and usually have a pretty nice time hanging out and meeting new people.

Also, I was kinda thinking of throwing a Greek social event back home over the holiday’s and inviting members from any Greek organization that happen to be in town for the holiday's. I feel a bound when I see people of different organizations regardless of where I am, and I think it might be nice to meet Greeks from other campuses. Would anybody be open to this idea?

I met DaemonSeid, neosoul, and VAgirl last winter at a DC meet up.

Met phrozen1ne and Professor at various Alpha stuff.

Met SisterHavana when she visted DC. Also have met naraht.

Astute and Attractive#7 and I were friends before GC.

I'm sure there are more. I'm a pretty big deal.

I forgot to mention that DolphinChicaDDD and I drove across the country last year. She and I met on GC, and met IRL when she worked here over the summer in 2006. My BF and her fiance are good friends too!

I've also met AXJules (even though she doesn't post here anymore), amycat, greeklawgirl, mu_agd, squirrelly girl, 33girl, kddani, Munchkin03, ZTAMich, taualumna, AGDLynn, winnie and a whole bunch of AGDs who don't post here anymore... and Hootie and Kitso. :p

When I traveled more, I used to try to meet up with GCers, but it never usually happened. Wanted to meet SigmaChiCard in Louisville, but I could never get out of the hotel at convenient times. (Convention)

My BF and her fiance met when they were here for vacation earlier this year. They're both tech nerds, so they get along well.

I was fortunate to meet so many GCers I adore last year because of the road trip. It probably would not have happened if not for that trip. Munchkin03, ZTAMich, 33girl, and kddani are just absolute darlings, and I can't wait to see them again!

There have been SoCal, Georgia, San Antonio, Chicago, and Pennsylvania (?) meet ups. I know the pics are posted somewhere.

You know I'm still sorry we weren't able to finagle a meet up when you guys drove through Pittsburgh?

Has anyone ever met Earp or Sheetcake?

My National President texted me yesterday to say that she met someone at this weekend's AFA conference who said he knew me from GreekChat. It was L.O.C.K. (Pi Delta Psi) and it made me laugh.
