It's another days journey and I'm so glad about it! Happy Founders Day to the men of this great fraternity. In the course of your everyday lives, you help make this nation a better place for all mankind and as we stand upon the shoulders of many brothers that have brought us thus far, I encourage each of you to keep looking towards the light of Alpha Phi Alpha . . the pride of our heart.

Senusret, you doing anything special today or this weekend?

Nope. Just wearing my Alpha hoodie to work.

Yeah I will be wearing my Cornell hoodie today to work since I will be in the schools today I can get away with that. :D This weekend the Chicago Alpha College and Alumni Chapters (CACAC) are doing a founders day celebration. I will be going to that. The guest speaker is Bro. Mark Tillman.

Congratulations to my brothers in Alpha who strive daily, in ways great and small, to uphold the true, God-given vision of Fraternity.

May God continue to bless and keep us.

Brothers of Alpha South,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Alpha South, I want to wish you a Happy Founders’ Day and a successful fraternal celebration as you commemorate the founding of our great fraternity.

One hundred and two years ago the Jewels of our great Fraternity, with a vision to change this nation, embarked on an unequaled journey to establish a Brotherhood of leaders to transform America and the world. Today, as men of Alpha, we’re charged with continuing that noble legacy of leadership.

As we prepare for rededication ceremonies, reflect on our valued history, and rekindle the bonds of brotherhood, let us remember that we are the leaders of the world. Particularly in our own nation, strong leadership, rooted in integrity, remains in high demand. Therefore, in tribute to the Jewels, the countless Alpha leaders now recorded in Omega Chapter and the endless number of future Alphamen, I ask you to remain steadfast and vigilant in your position of leadership. The world continues to need Alpha Phi Alpha leaders to guide the ship of the universe Onward and Upward.

Leadership was the order of the day on December 4, 1906 and continues to be the order of the day on December 4, 2008 .
