Alum donating a pin?
Hey girls,
Sorry for the crash. My grandmother is an ADPi (initiated at U. Miami) and has mentioned to me that she'd like to donate her pin to someone who maybe can't afford to buy one. Do you know if there's any way for her to go about this? Thanks ladies! |
How lovely and thoughtful! However, our policies state that all new initiates must purchase a badge and guard - even if they already have one from a relative. If she doesn't have a special person to donate it to, perhaps she could give it to her chapter of initiation to use as a special display....

That is so sweet of your mother! Many chapters (mine included) also have special pins for specific honors: President, Scholarship, etc.
Barring that, is there a possibility of a grand-legacy at some point in time? ;) If so, she may want to keep her pin for her! |
Well it would have to be a great-grand legacy because I'm already an initiate of Chi Omega. My sister, however, went through recruitment at a large Florida school and loved ADPi. She was released from all sororities on the 3rd round, but she might go through again.
