It depends on the sorority you're interested in.

QFP... ;)

Just to show that I am sometimes nice: Please do a search, there are several topics regarding this issue and hopefully you will find the answers you seek.

Also, you need to determine the sorority your interest. You need to do a Google search and find their membership qualifications because they vary from one organization to another.

Some answers will NOT be answered here if you do not see them on the International websites or go to the library and study that organization of your interest.

Lastly, asking the membership on your campus is more important. After you determine the following organizations you would like to pursue. You need to know what happens on the ground--which is your campus...

Good luck!

Yikes.

If you requested information typing like this, it's no wonder they haven't responded.

It sounds like you're trying to contact several different organizations. To reiterate what AKA_Monet said, you need to figure out exactly which organization you want to pursue. Visit the website. Talk to people you know in real life.

Good luck.

Do you write to them in long, inarticulate run-on sentences?

People often make the mistake of not observing an online community before jumping in and posting. Many of the GC regulars here are quite educated and it shows. We don't write as if we're texting and for the most part, we respect the rules of English grammar. Many here have also been greek for many years and you could learn a lot if you observe, read, and perform searches for questions that may have been answered in past threads. We come here to chat with eachother, not to constantly answer questions from non-greeks; hence the title of this site: Greekchat.

Now, just like someone else said, research the different orgs first, settle on the one you want to pursue, search their official national website for answers, and contact a local chapter to find out how you might pursue membership.

Just like in real work life, you are ALWAYS under scrutiny and ALWAYS being evaluated...

You can say what you want. You can think what you want. But this is the reality of the situation and you put it out there thinking it would NOT evaluated under close scrutiny without criticism?

If you write like this to us, what makes you think that you aren't writing in class? Regardless of being a mature student, you are still a reflection of your past experience and only have one shot to make an initial impression...

So, be positive, put your best foot forward, excel in all your classes, work in your area of interest or expertise.

Good luck and thank you.
