Reestablishing At University Of Kentucky
 

Hey Alpha Xi's,
I am one of the proud new members of AZD at the University of kentucky. I just wanted to shout out to everyone on the board and send my prayers and love in this time of tragedy in our country. I am so glad to be a part of Alpha Xi delta!

I read somewhere that you have been an AZD for a long time, I know you are so proud. I love being an AZD so much and I can't wait to do more with my sisters. Right now we are a colony. We have a lot of work to do but I am incredibly excited. So thank you again for the awesome welcome!!

I was initiated at Western Ky. Univ. in January of 1971. I can't believe that its been over 30 years. I got my master's at UK in the early eighties. I really enjoyed working with the chapter while I was in graduate school.

Being a colony member is alot of fun and alot of work. I know that you are with a great group of women and that this time will be wonderful.

I read that UK was up to 60 girls. But that was at the beginning of September. Does anyone know how many sisters we have there now?

My Mother Is An Alpha Xi Delta
 

She graduated in 1938 with a degree in Pharmacy (first woman). Her chapter was all the beauty queens, and still is some seventy years later. Congratulations on your reestablishment! All the best to you.

I just saw this thread, but then I was off getting married and whatnot, so I've been a little busy. ;)

I am a Delta Zeta at UK and I just wanted to welcome you all back! I didn't know any of the AZD's who went alum, but your all's house is right next door to ours and I'm sure my sisters and I will love being your neighbors (after you kick Sig Ep out, of course!). We re-established a couple of years ago and it's hard sometimes, but we've come a long way and I know you all will, too. Best of luck!
