Senior in highschool advice
My brother goes to UNC Greensboro and is in a fraternity there and I visit him alot and stay at the house and its the most fun I have all year, they are all great guys take me to parties and treat me like a brother, so basically I really want to join a fraternity. All the schools I got accepted to have fraternities and was just wondering if anyone has any info on the fraternity's at these schools and which ones are good/bad and how hard they are to get a bid at
WVU St. Louis U. Roanoke College Radford U. Marshall U. Ole Miss Arizona State Kent State Bowling Green State My top schools are St. Louis, WVU, Roanoke, Radford and Ole Miss...Not really sure how good my odds are at Ole Miss because i'm from Connecticut and don't know one person who ever went to Ole Miss, its below the rest of my top schools because its so far away to Anyone know anything about those schools^^ thanks |
Umm, A State is a party school and Ole Miss has the best greek system in the country. But you're right, if you're from Connecticut and have no connection to Ole Miss its gonna be tough for you to get in a good house. I know nothing about any of the rest of those.

Please....don't rely on what others. Form your own opinions once you meet the brothers.

BGSU isn't very, if at all, competitive

Do all y'all yankees always leave the state?
Hell, I had two friends from high school leave the state. And they went to Baylor. And I'm 99% sure they were gay together. |

Wasn't this question already posted awhile ago? I'm almost positive it was because I PM'd him about WVU Greek Life.

and I might be going to WVU, me and my friend applied and if we both get in we'll probly go together. Also does it help at all if my mom and everyone on her side of the family lives in North Carolina and i've only lived in CT for highschool...everything else was in NC (for a school like olemiss, since ya'll hate us northerners) |
Radford has a good greek system that has grown in the past few years. Definitely worth checking out.
From what I hear Roanoke was the similar, but small schools tend to change more rapidly than larger ones, and this was a few years ago. ASU is a party school, probably the most so in the nation, and is farther away from CT than Ole Miss, I think. |
Nowhere good to go in New England, but those on your list are acceptable? You must not be judging based on academics or you are huffing paint like all the other high school kids these days.
