I suppose it's better that these people are publicly protesting rather than privately plotting to do bodily damage. Maybe? There are other articles out there as well. SMH |
Thats extremely sad. Haven't heard of much Racism, except for the day he won when I was at the bars. Heard a red necks going on about an "N" in the white house. Also, I went threw 6 Obama signs, but what can you expect from a drunk college town?

I think it's really unfortunate that we live in a country where people are still not accepted b/c of the color of their skin or because "their person" didn't win.
Seriously. It's really sad. Instead of being a grown up about it and trying to band together to make the best out of the situation, they are sitting around all PO'd that their person didn't win and wasting their time on this earth to make fools of themselves. In N.Tx, besides that noose incident @ Baylor, there have been a number of incidents where vets were flying flags upside down coupled with black flags. The news reporter covering that incident spoke to another vet- a guy who was a McCain supporter - that said what that other vet doing was wrong and a disgrace to the country and to other vets. |
That is so horrible.
I may not like Obama's ideals. I may not like the fact that he wants to require service from some populations. But I refuse to attack his vital statistics. I have black friends and colleagues- not just African American, but also African and Afro-Caribbean- and I know they are not all alike. Hopefully these people will realize there are other ways to voice their disagreement with Obama's views and actions. |

I believe the adage that for every rat you see, there are twenty more that you don't see. If this is happening above-ground, there is no telling what is being plotted underground. We need to pray without ceasing. |
Yup, that is what I am referring to.
