This story seems to show the flip-side of the covert-attacks on Gov. Palin. Could it just be a version of to the victor goes the spoils or at least some beathing space?
I read another article that the head of Fox News called into meetings all of his afternoon and evening anchors and told them to lay off Sen. Obama-at least for the time being.

Was Fox News the last network to declare Barack Obama President-Elect? Just curious!

I think they were one of the first, other than maybe Comedy Central. I know that the major networks got burned when they called it for Gore in 2000. I was watching Fox News on election night, and they were actually pretty quick, to the point where I called people who were watching the majors, and they hadn't called it when Fox News did.
