Does Notre Dame in Indiana have sororities and fraternities???

I didn't think they did, but I saw someone post that they were in a Sorority at ND. I live in South Bend so I should know, but I'm dense, I think.

Are you sure that girl was talking about Notre Dame in Indiana? I got a different one when I typed in NotreDame.edu.

Also, what group was it? I think the Indiana ND has honorary and service clubs...

ND doesnt have any social ones. At least that the college recognizes

Notre Dame doesn't have any social GLOs. They do have a very close residence hall system though. You live in the same dorm all four years and do things with your dorm-mates similar to sorority/fraternity events - service projects, mixers, intramurals, etc. :)

Yeah, i asked the same things when i joined my fraternity...the answer is no :(. Too bad too...i was hoping there was a teke chapter there, since it's only like 20 mins from my hometown. Stupid parents have 4 tickets to the USC game...40 yrd line like 10 rows up...and won't take me.

Did they mean the ND in Indiana or the one in MD? Theres a ND in MD which is pretty big and it's an all female college. They don't have recognized sororities there though

I was referring to the ND in South Bend, IN...didn't know there was another one. Guess you really do learn something every day lol
