Phi Mu Grace

I've tried searching all over for the Phi Mu grace, we had an alumni dinner last night and our president asked the alums if they knew the grace, most did but for some reason didn't sing it. I was just wondering if anyone had the words or lyrics to it. Thanks!!

I have the music for it. And the instrumental. If you PM me your email I can send you that. I don't think you'll need the lyrics because they sing pretty clearly. My chapter doesn't know it either. Imagine how weird it was at state day since all the other chapters (who have houses and eat together) began singing!

Forgive me if I have a word or two wrong... I've never seen it written down anywhere, and this is from memory:

Father, we thank thee
Homage we pay
For the new blessings we receive each day
Bless thou this food, and make us strong and true,
Happy in the bond of dear Phi Mu

If you are able to audio chat on AIM, I'd be happy to give a singing demonstration. Haha. :)

I pretty sure that's right. And I've only listened to it 3 or 4 times.

Agreed. As an advisor from a chapter without a house, it was quite embarassing at convention when it was sung before meals. By the end of the week, I was able to hum along pretty well. Maybe HQ should consider printing it on the back of menus at national events for those who don't use it on a daily basis.
