What concerns you about Election 2008?
I'm concerned that I just had a conversation with someone who couldn't remember Bin Laden's name.
"Ben... Bin... you know." |
However, this consoles me:
You Can Vote However You Like |
|
Shouldn't this be in news and politics?
I'm concerned that all Obama's votes are going to come up missing. Something willl happen to all the absentees, the earlies, the ones from a certain state...something. |
The fact that people are still undecided right now, and will probably vote based on things like "oh he has nice teeth" or "well, that lady always wears really cute suits" or "he went to Harvard."

That the candidate I am not voting for may win. That this country may go way too far in one direction. That they would take away my rights as an individual. That I would not be allowed to stand out as an individual as a result.

I mean, they do still teach in schools, don't they, that the president doesn't enact laws, Congress does? And that the courts can still declare laws unconstitutional? I just do not understand why people buy into the fear-mongering that goes on (on both sides) in elections like this. |
Well, I'm 99% sure my candidate won't win for President...
On a local level, I'm concerned that my state Republican party can't find more credible candidates for national positions. I understand that a few of the Congressmen are well entrenched, and have big followings around here. I still would like to see a real, credible candidate step up, though. |

I'm concerned that we're going to have another 2000 election, and this whole thing will last even longer than it already has.
