And the "Redskins Rule" says...

...Obama will win tomorrow!

Quote:

It's called the Redskins Rule, and it has an accuracy rate of either 94 or 100 percent depending on how it's applied. Every time the Redskins win their final home game before a presidential election, the candidate representing the incumbent party remains in office. Every time they lose, the incumbent party's candidate loses as well. It's a predictor that has worked in 16 of 17 presidential elections since the Redskins arrived in Washington. (Some argue the rule is 17-for-17; more on that in a second.)

Obama, an Illinois Democrat, leads Sen. John McCain, an Arizona Republican, in nearly every poll. That suggests the Redskins will lose despite entering the game as two-point favorites.
FINAL SCORE: STEELERS 23 REDSKINS 6

Scholastic (remember those Scholastic news sheets you got as a kid?) always polls the kids and has been accurate 15 of 17 times. This year, Obama won, 57-43

Well it's good we have these other accurate predictors, like the Redskins and Scholastic...because Lord knows that with such a tight race, it's up for grabs...haha.

3 of the last 3 elections, when I've drunkenly made out with a beat-up girl within six weeks of the election, the favorite has won.

GUESS WHAT!

LOL @ "Rocco Bomma"

my youngest daughter's grade school election also went for "Rocco" by a vote of 136 to 4.

OK, I am a die hard Redskins fan! I voted for Obama.
I was upset that my Skins lost but was glad that the Redskins rule was correct

Me too! It was probably the only time in my life I was actually not as an enthusiastic supporter of my Skins as I should have been...
